Understanding this document is important for your successful completion of Psychology 100. Please read it thoroughly.
Also, everyone must register on-line for the requirement at the "Go to student home page" like above at the right.

Over the semester or session, every student enrolled in introductory psychology must acquire detailed experience in psychological laboratory experimentation. Although you will not be graded on this research requirement, you will not receive your letter grade until the requirement has been fulfilled. Specifically, failure to satisfy the research requirement will lead to your receiving a grade of "I" (Incomplete), which will not be changed until the requirement has been fulfilled. Beware, incomplete work must be submitted within the university deadline (see undergraduate catalog for details). If work for an "I" grade is not completed by the deadline, your course instructor decides what will happen to your grade. (Some instructors change the grade to an F, while others simply lower the grade by an increment they specify.)

You must register on-line for the requirement, and when you do, you choose one of the following two options in order to satisfy the requirement:

Read the details of each option by clicking on it. You are responsible for knowing the information for whichever option you choose.
Then, register for the requirement on-line by clicking the "Go to student home page" link above and to the right.
Your final grade in this course is independent of which option you choose. Your Psychology 100 instructor, who will determine your final grade in this course, will have no idea as to which option you take; that is completely up to you.
